MES Annual Spelling Bee
On Wednesday, January 25, 2012 the Miller Elementary 4th – 6th grade faced off for their annual Spelling Bee. Representatives for Mrs. DeLay’s 4th grade class were: Benjamin Langston, Cade Shepherd, and Nicholas Webb; Mrs. Russell’s 4th grade class: Neilson Hadlock, Matt Maas, and Kaitlyn Young; Ms. Gammill’s 5th grade class: Devin Demster, Devin Giraldo, and Bethany Gulick; Miss Noel’s 5th grade class: Matthew Collins, Kara Rogers, and Skyler Sams; Miss Lewton’s 6th grade class: Noah Gumm, Trey Jones, and Zack VanCamp; and Ms. O’Neal’s 6th grade class: Jared Hendrix and Jadon Washam.
This year’s winner is Noah Gumm! Noah will travel to Joplin for the 34th annual Joplin Globe Spelling Bee, sponsored by The Globe and TAMKO Building products, Inc., on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. This is the 2nd year in a row Noah has won the Miller Elementary Spelling Bee. Congratulations to all our Stellar Spellers!
