Basketball Teams Prepare for Tournaments

The Miller Cardinals and Lady Cardinals will be playing in their final regular season
tournaments this week and next.
The Lady Cards will take their 11-2 record to Marionville for the Lady Comet Classic.
The 2nd seeded Lady Cards will play Billings in game one at 6 p.m. tonight at
Marionville's new high school. The Lady Cards finished 2nd in the Joplin Tournament and
won the Walnut Grove Holiday Tournament in December with a victory over Ash Grove in the finals.
The boys team will travel to Logan-Rogersville next week (January 26-29) and play on
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The boys have played some very difficult competition this
year and have held their own entering the tournament at 7-6. This tournament is also a
JV tournament as well on the same nights. The Cardinals first opponent is Republic.
