It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Our classes are busy learning new information. In reading, we are studying the theme "Give It All You've Got" and we are learning how to use text details to make predictions. In language, we are learning about homophones, different kinds of nouns, different kinds of verbs, and using the dictionary as a reference book. In writing, we are working on writing from a different point of view, proofreading, editing, and publishing our work. In mathematics, we are applying our multiplication knowledge in solving division problems. In science, we are studying about ecosystems, food webs, energy pyramids, and natural cycles (water cycle, carbon dioxide-oxygen, and nitrogen cycle). In Social Studies, we are studying how the thirteen colonies were formed.
