Junior High/High School

Mr. Robinson

by Bailey Carpenter

January 09, 2009

Meet the New Staff Mr. Robinson By Bailey Carpenter Mr. Terry Robinson is Miller High School’s principal. This is his first year here. Before coming to Miller, he worked at Bolivar and Hillcrest High Schools. He went to school at Missouri State and was in the Army before he began working for schools. He is currently enrolled at Mizzou where he is taking classes. Mr. Robinson commented that Miller’s school spirit and the kids’ excitement about school events and activities are his favorite parts of this school. Helping people and solving problems is the best part about being a principal to Mr. Robinson. If one crazy thing happened in his life, he would only ask that he could be the world’s biggest lottery winner and build his own school exactly how he would like it and he would have the best teachers. The one thing Mr. Robinson wants to do in his life is travel more. He would like to someday visit London and Greece. In his spare time, he likes to read. Some of his favorite books are “When Bad Things Happen to Good People” by Harold Kushner and “The Source” by James Michner. If Hollywood made a movie about Terry Robinson’s life, it would be full of adventure, but who of course would play the main character? “If a movie about me was made, I would pick either Daniel Craig or possibly Russell Crowe to play me, but I suppose I could settle with Dr. Rossetti,” Mr. Robinson says. Mr. Robinson, as a Principal, wants Miller High School to be the school that every parent wants their child to attend. He wants this to be the best school around with the best activities and programs and challenging classes, and he plans to stay and achieve that while he is here.
