Catching up with the Den of Foxes
Miller High School has welcomed a variety of new teachers this school year. Two of them being Michael and Susan Fox. Mr. Fox directs band and choir, while Mrs. Fox teaches drama, helps with the website, and fills in as a substitute teacher on occasions. After catching up with them, we learned some insights into the Fox family after asking them a variety of miscellaneous questions.
Q: Birth Place?
A: Michael: Springfield, MO
A: Susan: Riverside, CA
Q: Why did you decide to become a teacher?
A: Michael: Enjoyed band and Choir, and is the only job that allows
me to do both.
A: Susan: I like working with kids, and enjoy seeing them grow and
mature as people.
Q: Where was your first job?
A: Michael: Fair Play.
A: Susan: Stoutland.
Q: Where did you get your degree?
A: Michael: Southwest Baptist University, Go Bearcats!!
A: Susan: Southwest Baptist University.
Q: What do you like to do in the spare time that you do
have?
A: Michael: I like to go to the lake and ride horses.
A: Susan: Read and spend time with her husband and three
children.
Q: Something most people don’t know about you?
A: Michael: I love to Wakeboard.
A: Susan: I love to ride horses.
The Fox family includes three children, Ashley, Anthony, and Austin. Their family attends the 2nd Baptist Church of Springfield, and has a deep faith in God. The kids are active in the youth group, while Susan, Michael, and Ashley are in the choir.
